There are lots of ways to get involved!
Tell your story, be a respondent, write a guest post for our blog, submit a piece of art for one of our workshops or just join our mailing list!
After the project’s first workshop in April 2016 15 storytellers and 15 respondents were selected and paired up to work together in the project. These pairs will work together to produce a story and response piece for inclusion in a book at the end of the project in 2018. While working together the pairs will also attend a thematic workshop in one of four areas – criminal responsibility, contractual capacity, consent to medical treatment and relationships and consent to sex. You can read more about these pairs as part of our Meet the Storyteller or Respondent blog post series.
Although the pairs who will contribute to the final publication have been selected the project is still looking for people interested in sharing their story on the blog and for artists who are interested in contributing a piece of art in any medium for one of the upcoming workshops.
We want to incorporate art into each of our workshops and events. This could be a performance piece – music, theatre or dance, an exhibition or any form of art which connects with the central themes of the project of decision making, being treated as a person, consent, contracts or criminal responsibility and can come to the workshop venue. Please fill in the expression of interest form if you think you have something to contribute.
Join our mailing list to keep up to date with the project’s progress and upcoming events.
